1. Pricing and Plans

ProvExpense offers the following subscription plans:

Free Plan
Expense tracking, mileage logging, receipt capture, income tracking, and standard reports. No time limit. Always free.
Pro Plan
$4.99/month — PDF reports, tax archives, priority support, and all Free features.

2. When Billing Starts

ProvExpense uses a permanent free tier — there is no trial period. You can use the app for free indefinitely.

When you upgrade to Pro, billing starts immediately at $4.99/month. Your first charge occurs on the day you subscribe, not after any free period.

There is no refund for the first billing period. Cancel at any time to stop future charges.

3. Auto-Renewal

All paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period:

4. Apple App Store Purchases

If you downloaded ProvExpense from the Apple App Store, your subscription is managed through Apple, not directly through us. Apple requires the following disclosures:

Apple App Store — Required Disclosures

Subscription: ProvExpense Pro
Price: $4.99 USD per month (or equivalent in local currency)
Billing: Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. There is no free trial — billing begins immediately upon upgrade to Pro at $4.99/month.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Cancellation: To cancel, go to Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad. Select ProvExpense and choose "Cancel Subscription." You can also manage subscriptions through appstore.apple.com.
Privacy: Payment and subscription data is handled by Apple per their Privacy Policy.

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. See Apple's refund policy for more information.

5. Payment Methods

For web purchases, we accept:

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We never store your card details — all payment information is handled directly by Stripe and never touches our servers.

6. Cancellation

Cancel via the App (Web Subscription)

Open Settings in the App

Navigate to the Settings page in ProvExpense.

Select "Manage Subscription"

Tap the subscription management option.

Click "Cancel Subscription"

Confirm the cancellation. Your Pro features remain active until the end of the current billing period.

Cancel via Apple App Store

Open iPhone/iPad Settings

Go to Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions.

Select ProvExpense

Find ProvExpense in your active subscriptions list.

Tap "Cancel Subscription"

Confirm. You will receive a confirmation email from Apple.


7. Refunds

Web purchases: ProvExpense does not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel, you will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. No credits or refunds will be issued for unused time.

Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis for documented technical issues preventing use of the service. Contact support@provexpense.com with details.

Apple App Store purchases: All refund requests for App Store purchases must be directed to Apple. We have no ability to process App Store refunds. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support.

8. Pro Plan Features

ProvExpense Pro includes all Free Plan features plus:

We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove Pro features with 30 days' notice. If we remove a significant Pro feature, affected subscribers may cancel for a prorated refund at our discretion.

9. Price Changes

We may change the Pro Plan subscription price at any time. We will notify you via email at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect. Your current rate is locked for as long as you remain subscribed without interruption. If you cancel and later resubscribe, you will be charged the then-current rate.
